The High Ground


Apparently, according to astrobiologists, we stink.
Blame the temperatures.
Actually, we persist,

and think up plans for habitable forms.
We made our camp in a spectrum of gears,
the absolute sun that we all live to study,

and projected an unlikely city
that could be almost right.
Perhaps, we think, the experts are coming.
