The Chained Messiah

According to a record rate of accelerating serious impacts,
Speeding up the loss of observation around the world,
World’s leading authority on worst-case scenarios.

A celebrity suffocated by saving the world,
Leading to the sacrifice, beloved but disabled
A sponge in throat, covered by the Messiah.

With distinctive bludgeoned features easy to find,
Chained possessions, heart-stopping blood,
Slowly using up all oxygen, I grew weary and died.
