Spirited Presidential Decision

I am not surprised.
Fraught with logistical problems,
barely a year has passed,

winning history nearly scuttled
showing signs of emotional fatigue.
He did not want choice for his future.

Nervous or elated,
left out of the set-up,
he went for a different challenge.
